Anne Jamieson, Senior Manager Anne Jamieson has been with the Toronto Enterprise Fund at United Way of Greater Toronto since October 2003. Prior to joining United Way, Anne was Vice President, Ontario & Online Services with the Canadian Youth Business Foundation, an organization providing loans, mentoring and information to young people starting up their own businesses. Anne was responsible for all aspects of the delivery of CYBF’s loan and mentor programs in communities in Ontario, as well as overseeing the administration of CYBF’s several web sites. Anne also worked for several years as a business consultant and program manager with the Community Business Resource Centre in Toronto. She has provided training and advice to hundreds of individuals wanting to become successful entrepreneurs, including youth, women, newcomers and marginalized populations. From the mid-80s to the mid-90s, Anne worked in the international commercial banking sector in London, England. Anne has a Honours B.A. from the University of Toronto and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Western Ontario. Anne is bilingual in English and French. Amy Lee, Administrative Assistant Amy Lee has been with United Way Toronto since 2007, and has worked with the Toronto Enterprise Fund since 2009. Amy has worked in both the private and public sectors, and prior to joining the United Way, she worked in Public Relations in Shanghai, China, in Education with the Chiba Board of Education in Japan, and in graphics design in Mississauga, Canada. Shifting gears, Amy decided to move to the nonprofit sector, and is currently primarily responsible for administering grant streams and supporting United Way’s member agencies. She also spends a portion of her time working on TEF projects. Amy has a BAH in History from Queen’s University, a MSc in Public Policy and Management from the University of London, and is currently wrestling with a MSc in Sustainable Development from the University of London, UK. Dave Sargeant, Evaluation Coordinator David assumed the role of part-time evaluation coordinator for the Toronto Enterprise Fund in September 2009. Prior to assuming this role David worked as a consultant providing human services organizations support and guidance regarding strategic planning, and implementation of evidence based practice. This work grew out of four years in the role of Regional Manager of Eastern Canada for the Canadian Outcomes Research Institute (CORI) based in Calgary. For 3 years prior to working with CORI David was employed as the Manager of Resource Services for Frontenac Children’s Aid Society where he was responsible for managing the department tasked with securing placements for a burgeoning client group; as well as providing volunteer and other support services for the clients of the Society. David also chaired the Placement Planning Review Committee, which reviewed all of the placements of the in-care clients on a regular basis in order to ensure appropriate matches were made and maintained in meeting the needs of the clients. David has BA in psychology from the University of Western Ontario and a Master of Education specializing in Rehabilitation Services from the University of Calgary.
